Staffmax’s New CEO Aims to Invest in Operations in Uusimaa

Lapland-based restaurant staffing service Staffmax Oy has appointed Emmi Lehtimäki as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective from September 1, 2023. The appointment of the CEO is part of a broader administrative and organizational restructuring. As CEO, Lehtimäki specializes in operational management.

CEO Emmi Lehtimäki has worked extensively in various positions within the company for the past three years, during which she has been responsible for, among other things, the company’s marketing. Additionally, she has been involved in launching Staffmax’s operations in Pirkanmaa.

“I believe that my versatile skills, my education in business, and my extensive background in the restaurant industry together provide a solid foundation for my role as Staffmax’s CEO. It’s crucial for a CEO to understand their company, and I’ve had the privilege to be closely involved in Staffmax’s growth story,” commented Lehtimäki.

A Growing Company Requires Energetic and Active Leadership

Staffmax’s rapid growth has created new needs for more dynamic leadership, and the appointment of a CEO will free up resources for long-term strategic planning.

“We were looking for a CEO with a broad perspective on the company’s operations, energetic operational leadership skills, and innovativeness. Emmi’s experience, capabilities, and youthful approach made her the clear choice for the position,” stated Staffmax’s Chief Operating and Strategic Officer, Henry Hynynen.

The new CEO’s goals for the remainder of the year include completing Staffmax’s administrative restructuring in collaboration with the Chairman of the Board and expanding the company’s operations in Uusimaa, especially in Helsinki.
